Love Winnipeg is here and we're diving in head first!
Love Winnipeg is an effort by local churches to love the people of our city without any strings attached! So this Saturday we're starting off by baking a MOUNTAIN of cookies for local fire fighters just to say "thanks". We'll start at 6:30 at the church. New comers always weclome.
IF YOU drive near a fire station on your way from church, would you be willing to drop off a batch of cookies? Let me know! ALSO: This is only the first weekend of Love Winnipeg, with 3 more weeks to go! So bring your ideas about what all we can do to love our city!

Okay, so no one showed up until 8:00, but once they did we had a blast! We baked over 150 Cookies (plus the ones that never made it out the door 'cause we ate them!) and gave them out to fire fighters across the city!
They guys at the station I went to was just like "Okay, thanks. Bye." but I think he appreciated it.
